Moderately strong solar flare measuring M1.3 at its peak time erupted on May 24, 2014. The event started at 18:26, peaked at 18:35 and ended at 18:44 UTC. The source was Active Region 2065 (beta) located near the western limb.A 10cm Radio Burst event with peak flux of 229 sfu and lasting 3 minutes was associated with the flare event. A 10cm radio burst indicates that the electromagnetic burst associated with a solar flare at the 10cm wavelength was double or greater than the initial 10cm radio background. This can be indicative of significant radio noise in association with a solar flare.
