Fox News Channel host Gretchen Carlson is facing backlash from some in the Muslim community this week after remarks she recently made on her program, The Real Story.
Sharing her thoughts on the recently declassified documents recovered in the raid of Osama bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan, Carlson said she found many revelations very interesting.
“As we continue to sift through the 103 documents released today from his compound,” she said, “it’s fascinating to see how the al-Qaeda leader was living his life in the Pakistani compound – what he was reading, what he was watching, even his relationships with his wives and children.”
She went on to remark on the unusual dichotomy of the terror organization’s recruitment forms.
“One really weird thing stands out too,” she said, “in regard to the al-Qaeda recruitment. Turns out, the al-Qaeda recruitment form looks a lot like any other job application – at least in the beginning.”
