Meditation has been around for thousands of years, now scientists are looking to see what physiological effects it really has on practitioners.

With our ever increasing busy lives, more and more people are asking,

“what is the science behind meditation?”

The physical act of meditation generally consists of simply sitting quietly, focusing on one’s breath, a word or phrase. A mediator may also be walking or standing.
