Monkey isn’t mischievous, he is down the Earth ie., he has no manners for the posh to enjoy. A typical response to a polite request he disagrees with, would be mooning in their face. He also has no concept of deceit, so is easily fooled via his naivety. Monkey plus fire, hmm. Says it’s time for righteous comeuppance, imafo, because Monkey is also a skilled grand master of beating his enemies, he has the skills to best his opponents.
