Historic UN Vote On Palestine LIVE 3 PM EST
At least 150 countries will vote in favor of upgrading the palestinians status as a nonmember observer state to the UN. After Operaion Pillar of Cloud in which 173 Palestinians and 6 Israelis were killed, this will be an even more closely watched event. This is being seen as an international political failure for israel and the United States who will both vote no tomorrow. Vote in Favor of Palestine. I am American and it is my personal belief that America should keep its nose out of other countries problems, and Israel is the “problem” in the Middle east as a whole. I say down with Isreal and hooray for Palestine.

I personally think it is hilarious how these political leaders think they have power. The end has already been written with regard to Israel, but you go on ahead and pretend that your not completely irrelevant.

For those of you who aren’t brushed up on your ancient geography this means Israel will pretty much have everything sewn up tight from the Nile to the Euphrates. It’s already been written. Continue on though…. political theater is so much more entertaining than Hollywood.
You are mis-quoting Scripture to support a pre-mil dispensational hermeneutic and understanding. Those Scriptures have audience relevance rooted in history, not erroneously removed from context and placed arbitrarily somewhere into the future. Israel’s end happened in AD 70 when Vespasian and Titus came and destroyed the Temple and brought the Mosaic economy to an end. This is what Christ was speaking about in the Olivet Discourse from Matt 24. It was the end of the age, not some future end of time. Israels’ relevance as God’s unique and exclusive Covenant people was brought to an end when Christ completed His earthly mission and sojourn. Pulling verses out of Scripture and the context in which they were given, especially to support a theory imposed on Scripture, is adding to the Word of God which is forbidden. This is like reading someone else’s mail i.e it wasn’t written to you and therefore wasn’t ment for you!
And you are quite correct. Jesus was speaking in the present tense, he was not making a future prediction… there is no future event where he’s going to arrive in the flesh again… that can’t happen.
All of the parables that Jesus spoke of relate to natural law… no exceptions. This too is key… Christianity and Islam are Abrahamic religions… that means they are offshoots of Judaism. All of the religions of the world were crafted for and indoctrinated into us… all the genuine spirituality occulted away and shrouded in mystery and allegory.

There is also a prophecy that depicts Israel as having the moon “under her feet”. Islam’s symbol is the crescent moon.
Another kudos for the devil if the Palestinians are made into their own statehood. Only more violence and hatred toward Israel. God help Israel.
The blood thirsty terrorist mafia wants their own state. The leaders steall billions in aid while the ordinary Palestinians live in abject poverty. Sounds legit.
In the short term it will give the Palestinians a platform from which to develop the trappings of a state & breathing space to protect their economic developement from Israels vandalism. It will also help them build international support, give safe haven to international observers, & build a stronger support consensus.
However; it is doomed to failure in the long term as a dwarf in the shadow of a powerful neighbour, & if the wrong elements take the lead (very probable) they will become an elite that shackles them with un-payable debt. Civil war will break out because the religious leaders will not tolerate such a state of affairs & the elite will target the opposition with their “security” forces; Israel are experts at stoking these disputes.
The only permanent solution is a single state that gives its multi-cultural population equal political rights. You can argue the details but that is the only permanent peaceful solution & its not gonna stop anyone being Muslim Christian or Jewish if they want to be…
The land region called “Palestine”, historically in the early 1900s, included much land on both sides of the Jordan River. Why, then, is it only Israel that has ever given up any of that land for the Palestinian people? What about the nation Jordan? Why has it never offered to give back to the Palestinians any part or portion of “palestine” that was East of the Jordan River?
This is something to think about. It is all one-sided, and THAT by muslims! Jordan is a muslim nation. Hypocrites, IMO. Imagine the size of a new Palestinian state if they had just as much land ceded to them East of the Jordan River (by the nation Jordan) as what Israel conceded to them. Something to think about.
BTW, I personally don’t think Israel should give up anything to them.
God gave Israel the land and others squatted on it for a time, but it is still Israel’s by grant from God. However, I do consider that Israel may have some room to maneuver on what God may permit and allow, such as the Gaza strip which was ancient Phillistia it seems, and possibly some other regions, too.
Israel also endured repeated wars of aggressions by its neighbors — something many youger people don’t know or consider much about. Yep, they kept trying to annihilate the Israelis in the 1900s in the region, and Jews didn’t only live there in the 1900s, but did so for 100s of years. They have been pretty much driven out of most other (“peace-loving”) arab & muslim nations of the middle east where they also lived for many centuries, simply due to their being Jewish. So, when they had Israel to live in, but teh muslims kept trying to kill them there, too,…well, they get what they got when God wiped their terrorist muslim incalcitrant butts all over the place each time they invaded. Israel shoudl keep the land. Don’t throw a sheet over a lion or a cobra & pretend it isn’t there: they have nothing butt hate & ill-intent, so should not be trusted nor given a place to make trouble too close to the Israeli people’s heartland. Even now, the surrounding muslim nations have thousands of rockets aimed at Israel.
