“Meretz supports the right to pray – also for Jews – on the Temple Mount.
We certainly have the right. We think that there is no sense at this time
to realize this right. And the arrangement on the Temple Mount will be part
of the general arrangement. Either it will be under God’s control as was
once suggested, or under joint Israeli-Palestinian sovereignty. It will all
be part of a compromise agreement for Jerusalem as part of an overall
agreement.”
