IDF Retaliates Following Gaza Rocket Fire

Yesterday, October 4, 2015, a rocket was launched from the Gaza Strip,
hitting southern Israel.
The rocket landed in an open area, in the Eshkol Regional Council.
No injuries were reported.
In response to the attack, IAF aircraft targeted a Hamas terror site in the
northern Gaza Strip.
Lt. Col. Peter Lerner, IDF Spokesman:”Firing a rocket at people’s homes is a
clear, coward and cruel act of terrorism. Whether it’s a rocket attack, a
shooting, a stabbing or any other form of aggression meant to terrorize
civilians, the IDF will not tolerate it. We will continue safeguarding all
Israeli civilians whose lives are put in harm’s way.”
The IDF holds Hamas accountable and responsible for all attacks emanating
from Gaza.
Since the beginning of 2015, 16 rockets were launched at Israeli territory
from the Gaza Strip.
