Hundreds of Israelis and dozens of companies are attending the RSA
exhibition in San Francisco, which considered the largest in the world in
its field.
Among the Israeli companies participating in this conference, are Cyberark
and Check Point. The founder of Cyberark, Udi Mokady, said that his
company’s sales has increased by 56 percent in 2015, much more than analysts
projected. According to him, the demand for a “protection belt” to prevent
the spread of cyber attack in already penetrated networks is growing
worldwide.
The exhibition also has an Israeli pavilion representing several companies,
and is administered by the Israel Export Institute, the National Cyber
Bureau and the Ministry of Economy. Hundreds of companies from all over the
world are also displaying in the exhibition.
One of the speakers at the conference was Dr. Tal Steinherz, CTO of the
Israeli National Cyber Bureau. He said that Israel had finalized its
national cyber strategy and is now at the implementation stage. He added
that the cybersecurity needs are about to change dramatically over the
coming years because of the multitude of web-connected devices (“Internet of
things”).
