Israel may order F-15′s as F-35′s true role uncertain

Makor Rishon correspondent Yochai Ofer reports today that it is going to
take between 5 and ten years for the Israel Air Force to actually know what
it can do with the fifty F-35′s the Jewish State is ordering.
Right now the F-35 has nice videos and fantastic promotional material, note
Ofer, but there’s no way to be sure about the true performance of this
unproven platform supercharged with Israeli gadgets and software.
So instead of possibly staking Israel’s survival on wishful thinking Israel
may also order F-15′s.
The purchase price of F-15′s is higher now than F-35′s.
