GAZA CITY (Ma’an) — A security delegation from the besieged Gaza Strip
headed to Egypt via the Rafah crossing on Tuesday evening to meet with
Egyptian officials, sources in the Hamas movement told Ma’an.

Sources said that the security delegation, led by Major Tawfiq Abu Naim,
head of the Gaza Security Forces, traveled to Cairo to meet with Egyptian
officials.

Deputy Head of the Hamas politburo, Moussa Abu Marzouq had said several days
ago that the movement had received a list of men in the Gaza Strip wanted by
Egyptian authorities.

Marzouq added at the time that turning them into Egyptian authorities was
not an option and that security officials would be meeting with their
Egyptian counterparts to explain the circumstances of each person listed by
Egyptian authorities.
