Army Begins Receiving Chem-bio Shelters
The Chemical Biological Protective Shelter Model E1 (CBPS-M8E1) is an environmentally controlled working area for medical combat services and combat service support personnel to work freely without continuously wearing chemical-biological protective clothing.
The first of more than 100 chemical biological protective shelters have been delivered to the U.S. Army by Smiths Detection under a $40 million contract.
