(Before It's News)

The 2013 Chevy Malibu has arrived at Red River Chevrolet!  It is a great looking car!  It has been all redesigned!  Come on down and check out the new car!  I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how well this thing looks!  We actually just go a White Diamond 2013 Malibu (Similar to the above picture) in, so if you are in the area, stop on in!

Below are a few things that the new 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Eco offers.  Keep in mind, that these are just a few of them and there are actually a ton more than this!  To get the full effect of just how great this car is, come on down to Red River Chevrolet and check it out for yourself!

eAssist

eAssist is a state-of-the-art technology that allows the vehicle to conserve power when the vehicle does not need it.  Basically what the car does, when it is stopped, coasting downhill, or parked for whatever other reason, the engine will switch over to its lithium-ion battery to power all the accessories and components within the car.  This gives you an impressive 25MPG city and 37 MPG on the highway!

Regenerative Braking

The lithium ion battery that powers the eAssist does NOT need to be charged!  This car features regenerative braking which will capture the energy lost when braking and convert it over to electricity to store inside the battery for when it is needed.  This is one less thing to worry about on this vehicle!

Aerodynamics

The entire car is designed for efficiency.  The 2013 Malibu Eco has Aero Grille Shutters which guide the airflow seamlessly around the body of the vehicle to increase fuel efficiency and create less drag and resistance.  This car actually has a segment first, Grille Shutters, that electronically open and close when needed.  When the car temperature allows, the shutters will close increasing the car’s aerodynamics.

Eco Guage

The 2013 Chevrolet Malibu also features a gauge within the dash cluster that tells how eco-friendly a person is driving.  Because fuel efficiency and the like will all depend on how the car is being driven, the car can actually help you determine the best way to drive the car to get the most miles per gallon.

Low Rolling Resistance Tires

Every aspect of this car has been designed to increase its fuel efficiency.  Even the tires on this car are low rolling-resistance that helps the car drive with less friction and less weight.  The 17” wheels are made from a lightweight aluminum to further help.

580 HWY MILES ON ONE TANK!

Interior

The 2013 Malibu Eco has also been redesigned in the inside!  There is now more passenger room, along with added ambient accent lighting spread throughout the vehicle.  You can get chrome, wood grain, or metallic accents to add a level of detail and class to the interior of the vehicle making it really easy on the eyes!  Acoustic laminated glass and triple door seals help keep the noise outside, outside.

Chevrolet MyLink

Chevrolet MyLink is designed to be an easy to use interface.  This is why MyLink offers voice command, touch screen, center stack buttons, as well as steering wheel controls.  Convenience and comfort was at the top when the engineers thought of the design for the entertainment system in the 2013 Malibu.  With apps available and the flexibility of MyLink to each individual person, you can customize your entertainment to what you use most of.
