It turns out that a lot of weird, funny, gross, fire-y things happen when you own an exotic car rental company. This week’s guest is Noah Lehman-Haupt, co-owner of Gotham Dream Cars, and wow does he have stories.A lot of us treat “normal” rental cars as worry-free opportunities to test how the laws of physics influence metal deformation. You might get a rental car stuck in mud, jump it, do minivan burnouts, or hit a pole.
Exotic car renters don’t do that. They leave “things” in the car, like illicit substances or oddly placed bodily fluids. Or they try to steal them and ship them overseas, or drift them past a Gotham employee (Matt) as he arrives to pick up an Aston Martin. Noah had all these stories, and lots more. This was a good one.
