2013 Chevrolet Traverse is Here!

The New 2013 Chevy Traverse is now available in Shreveport, LA and Bossier City, LA. The 2013 Traverse has been redesigned with a new front-end, tail lights, interior, and many, many other features! This is one good looking SUV! If you have not had a chance to drive a 2013 Traverse yet, please come down to your Local Chevrolet dealership and take one out for a spin.

Chris Fuller here at Red River Chevrolet in Bossier City, LA has put a video walk around of the new 2013 Traverse. This particular model is a 2LT White Diamond with the 6.5 inch MyLink infotainment system which provides seamless smartphone integration into your vehicle. The 2013 Traverse features many sleek new curves and lines than the previous 2012 model, along with the new front grille, and lower fascia, the front-end of this Chevy looks aggressive and stylish! The headlights are slanted further back with black trim surrounding the diamond cut clear lenses that house the HID headlights.

Further changes surround the rearview mirrors where you can get the optional blind-side alert system to let you know when someone is passing next to you and perhaps traveling in your blind spots. The back of the Traverse received enhancements as well. The tail lights are on par with the front lights where you will find more black trim that surrounds the lights to add a stylish new look.

Perhaps the most drastic changes take place in the interior of the new 2013 Traverse. When you enter the vehicle, you will immediately notice the more luxury feel of the inside as you will see all the soft touch surfaces now incorporated into the interior. The leather on the dash with the contrasting visible stitching really makes for a more upscale look to the interior. You will also notice the wood grain accenting throughout the dash along with the available ambient lighting which provides with a real pleasant and warming appearance in the Traverse.

Chevy’s MyLink Infotainment system also makes it appearance in the 2013 Traverse which provides 6.5 inches of touch screen interface for all of your entertainment needs. The MyLink system seamlessly integrates your smartphone’s capabilities into you vehicle. It will add such functions as streaming Bluetooth audio, Pandora radio, Stitcher Radio and many more!

As far as safety goes, the new 2013 Traverse features 6 airbags featuring the all new class-exlusive driver seat-mounted front center air bag which prevents the driver and the passenger from colliding with each other in the event of certain side-impact crashes. With the optional 7^th airbag the 2013 Traverse is ahead of its competition when it comes to safety.
