Outtakes #1: Chopper Dave

In 2010 I got to visit Chopper Dave Freston’s unit in Hawaiian Gardens, LA… and walked around it like a nerdy hero-worshipping tourist with my camera poised, snapping every early S&S carb, cool cast piece and project bike.
As always, there were far more images to choose from than I could actually fit into the eventual GKM feature (issue 18 if you want to see it) so here is the first of an occasional series where I dig into the archives to air a few photos which never made it to print.
