Around 4 am, you aren't going to be happy when woken up by a loud car's blown out and rusted through muffler… but would you call the cops?
Zeeland Michigan, outside Holland, and near Grand Rapids, has a newspaper delivery guy (age 20), who is barely scrapping by on minimum wage, and couldn't afford to replace the muffler.
Several of the residents of Steaders Borough, a developed neighborhood with it's own Facebook page (probably an HOA type thing) found the problem was a chance to help out a young guy with a rough road in life, and a low paying job, and right about the time most people put out a Christmas tip for the mailman, the newspaper kid, and the snowplow/driveway clearing guy… this group raised money and fixed up his car.
