A MATTER OF CHOICE
The above art work by Marty Two Bulls is appearing on a number of sites- it is well executed and speaks to the heart of the matter.
No question mark associated with the direction Peltier has chosen though -the man is a delusional liar who has come to believe the myth created for him.
Were it not for his act of murder nobody would know who Peltier is or give two rips-in all likelihood he would be wandering around collecting aluminum cans or having tried his tough guy act with the wrong person and no one to back him up would be out of his misery by now.
There really isn’t a choice for Peltier -he’s put a noose around his neck and doubtful he’s willing to kick the chair out from under his feet.
He can write pleading letters to Peter Coyote about please don’t let him die in prison, but Peltier alone is the one who held the key and chose to throw it away.
So I’ll respect his decision and say since he’s made it it works for me.
I don’t know if you get paid for work in federal prisons but either way Peltier has the best gig going as far as income.
For sure upon his passing the vultures will descend looking to make a profit-that’s a part of the AIM mentality-the love of money- nothings going to change that.
After the initial profit taking he’ll fade into the sunset and those in waiting attempting to promote themselves will scramble for the spotlight and revenue it can generate.
LRT- the acronym speaks to a reality, there aren’t many left-but another reality is it’s an easy acronym to employ, kind of like gang members tattooing native pride on themselves.
Or AIM attempting to imply a people’s movement.
