I think even the casual reader of this blog has come to the understanding that I believe at least one if not all of the AIM leadership has informed at some point or another as it served them.
They would also be aware that I’ve mentioned Clyde Bellecourts arrest, classification as a major drug dealer, subsequent conviction, and incarceration.
Every time I look at information related to that I am amazed that he walked away with serving as little time as he did, and I seriously doubt it was the result of character witnesses attesting to his stand up character.
There are laws on the books that toughen sentences for selling to minors, or dealing within proximity to schools-yet Clyde was dealing out of a federally funded school-this during a Republican administration that we all know would have little tolerance for such things.
I can’t think of a reason why he would have been treated with such deference other than the most obvious one.
Apparently those AIM patriots all led a charmed life-couldn’t roll the dice without coming up a seven.
Of course Clyde’s mea culpa was he did it for AIM-guess he thought that AIM was more important than the safety and well being of children.
But then that has always been the AIM mentality-AIM uber alles.
Seems overtly disingenuous to me that some who want to comment about the environmental poisoning of our children due to uranium have nothing to say about poisoning them with drugs, alcohol, and the toxic behavior that always accompanies such things.
