Each year the Onondaga Nation School holds an Annual Community Give where they give items from each classroom, their special classes and other groups in our community to Onondaga Nation elders. Groups of children and teachers walk to the elder’s homes and visit with the elders and give them the box of treasures from the School. Some elders live far out enough for a couple of groups to ride on the bus.

This year the Technology class made and then presented a canoe with a Two Row Wampum belt to elder Ada Jacques. “The Two Row Canoe seemed just the item to make as it was the year of the Two Row”, stated ONS Tech Ed teacher Jeff Capella.
