The process started in the early of January, 2016 when this famous mansion get listed for sale with asking prize of 200 million plus a condition that Hefner will have a right to rent at the playboy mansion for life. The final deal was sealed with Daren Metropoulos for the prize 100 million with the condition that the previous owner may stay at the mansion for rest of his life.
Changes likely to be brought:
The rumours are that Daren Metropoulos is going to connect his present home with the playboy mansion though he has no recent plans to move to the playboy mansion. He is going to attach his 2 acres plot with the 5 acres area of the playboy mansion and will make it a huge 7 acres new property. The changes will be implemented only after Hugh Hefner lefts the mansion permanently. Daren Metropoulos will stay at his current home till this re-join is done.
