Time to clean house.
Whilst everyone is aware of the corruption in government, it is time to clean house. Our own houses that is.
Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Our soul is eternal. Where it ends up depends on how we keep house.
We must remove all impurities from our lives and our daily living.
Right down to the last speck. The last foible.
This is our only defence against all evil, from whichever direction it comes.
The outcome of this housecleaning is the strength to avoid or deal with evil.
The outcome is also a clear mind, a right reason and an ability to think rationally, fruitfully, creatively (but in a good way), and a good heart.
A corrupt government has no defence against the above. It cannot corrupt the soul unwillingly but we cannot resist unless we are right to begin with. We must put all things right and we must do it without hesitation.
Heaven helps those who help themselves so therefore it stands to reason that it does not help those who do nothing.
Our help is in proportion to the changes we make in ourselves.
Fasting is a good beginning, but we must believe in a good that is opposed to evil and believe we have the strength to become good also and thus armed against the evil.
The call of Apocalypse must be our watchword: “Come out of her my people.” As St Paul says. What has godliness to do with ungodliness?
Now is the time if we have not already started to clean house. Why delay in the face of an uncertain future, in the face of a hell on earth.
Our own good is our only defence against all the evil now swamping the world.
