105 Colombian Trade Unionists Killed In 4 Years. The killings follow the implementation of a Labor Action Plan signed in 2011 as part of the U.S.-Colombia Free Trade Agreement.

 

Honduras is world’s number one for killing environmental activists. More people were killed in Honduras per capita than any other country for each of the last five years as a result of their efforts to defend land and the environment, according to UK-based NGO Global Witness.
