Modi’s “New and Improved” India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rule of India is characterized by the country being “open for business” in a classic neoliberal, diminished regulatory framework and tight sociopolitical control of the population. However, the increasingly intolerant societal landscape, coupled with a growing economic divide, challenge his vision and ultimately India’s democracy.

Neocon Fugitive Given Ukraine Province. The latest political move by the US-backed “pro-democracy” regime in Ukraine was to foist on the people of Odessa the autocratic Georgian ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili, a neoconservative favorite and currently a fugitive from his own country.

G7 is Fueling Corporate Dominion of Africa. “Unfortunately G7 governments policies seem to be more about increasing corporate profits through access to African land and labor, and opening markets to sell patented seeds and pesticides rather than realizing the right to food.”
