[Editor's Note: After reading more and viewing the video more carefully, it now appears that Finicum was shot by Oregon State Police who were working in tandem with federal agents. The helicopter view of the shooting was edited. There is no audio provided of what Finicum was yelling to the cops, but those in the SUV relayed that he was telling them that his hands were in the air, but they shot him anyway. Finicum was unarmed. His hands were initially in the air, but apparently he was shot in the face by the cop in front of him and lowered his arm in reaction to being shot. Then the second cop behind him, shot him in the back. (This shooting appears real and genuine, but I would also not dismiss the possibility of a staged shooting here, since we're given nothing BUT staged shootings here in America for the past few years.)
Assuming the event is real, there is no logical reason for these cops to shoot this guy down. None. They know who he is. They know his character. And they know he isn't armed. Why would they just execute this man in cold blood knowing full well they were being video taped from above? To say nothing of the multiple witnesses in the SUV? This is just too fishy to accept at face value.
Either they intentionally murdered this man in cold blood in order to ramp up the animosity towards feds and police in order to bring on the redneck shootout revolution - which they are hoping to stimulate - or the whole thing is a setup psyops, and this guy was not actually killed. Internet researchers should look very hard at the life and history of Robert Finicum to verify that this guy is real. Another odd element in the story: it's reported that the police and feds "lit up" the SUV with bullets, something like 112 rounds. How come only one man Ryan, is injured in the arm, but all others in the SUV remain uninjured? Just miraculous luck? ... Ken]
