Daniel 6:16 Thenthe king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of the lions.
In Chapter 6 of the book of Daniel we see the trial and struggles of one who is trying to stay true to God in a time of unjust laws. As Catholics we know to obey God rather than man but sometimes it may potentially cost us our life. Following up with this reality Our Lord says emphatically teaches to “care not for the body”. Yet why do so many emphasize the body and can they ultimately prepare themselves for the times ahead? What we will soon see is essentially a rewrite of this chapter.
Yes, history repeats itself and there are FEMA camps spread throughout the USA (and world for that matter) awaiting those who simply will not go along with the New Age/New World Order program. In Chapter 6 we see that there are two kings commanding one earthly and one eternal. Which one do you serve? When push comes to shove will you bow down to unjust laws or will you obey the Eternal Law? Let us move through Daniel 6 and analyze further.
“Then the princes, and the governors craftily suggested to the king, and spoke thus unto him: King Darius, live for ever: [7] All the princes of the kingdom, the magistrates, and governors, the senators, and judges have consulted together, that an imperial decree, and an edict be published: That whosoever shall ask any petition of any god, or man, for thirty days, but of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions.” In verses 6-7 we see a conspiracy. People hate the word conspiracy because people do not want to use their brains these days and investigate. We also see that the governors and princes have laid down a trap for Daniel. Do we not see the beginnings of such a “conspiracy” in our times. We see the attack on the traditional family. We see coaches unable to say prayer before the ball game…
