In today’s dispatches, multidimensional reality expert Douglas Vogt repurposes old tired COLB complaints and aims them at the long form. Tribble mobility scooter Donald Trump gets thanked….but not in a way he might like. World Nut Daily comes up with a new way to harvest cash from birther wallets.
Professional seditionist Sharon Rondeau gets a flowery complement from a reader, though it may have sounded different in the original German. Lawrence O’Donnell gets asked why Dr. Orly was on his show.
The birthers want to arrest Dr. Onaka for the crime of certifying Obama’s long form. Trump starts to get a look at the undercarriage of the birther bus. Dr. Orly’s origins are questioned. And it’s a help to the FBI when the birthers bring themselves to the FBI’s attention.
22 May – Douglas Vogt takes a break from multidimensional reality to offer more of his “expert analysis” of the long form.

Vogt seems to have become the Polarik or TechDude of the long form, with examples like:
“What President Obama presented is not the hospital birth certificate. The birth certificate would have the imprint of the baby’s footprint, weight, length and other information. Some even have religion. The Birth Certificate would be the source of the same information that would be typed onto the Certificate of Live Birth (the Long Form, COLB). What President Obama released is supposedly the Long Form that the County gets from the hospital, which is typed on a blank form given to the hospitals by the county. That copy is then mailed to the county Board of Health and kept as a legal government document.”
Gee, this looks rather…..familiar. I’m all for recycling, but he’s now trying to reuse the same arguments that they used against the COLB!!
“One of the reasons I mentioned the Federal law is because when President Obama gave his news conference, presenting his alleged Certificate of Live Birth, he stated that they had to get special permission to get a copy of his Certificate. His statement appears to be blatantly wrong because these are public documents and he could have requested a copy himself at any time as well as his Secretary of Health and Human Services could have audited the County’s records and get a copy any time they wanted.”
No, he had to get special permission to get a certified copy of the long form because the State of Hawaii doesn’t GIVE those out anymore, just the COLB!
23 May – We have a thank you to Donald Trump.

26 May – Presenting World Nut Daily’s latest attempt to get the birtherstani to part with their money

We’re talking about dozens and dozens of problems with a document no one else in the media or the Washington political establishment dares to question. That’s why this campaign, going over the heads of the media, is so vitally necessary. It worked once before. It will work again.”
Well, if by “worked” you mean “bilked the stupid out of their money”, then yes.
“That’s why Farah is asking for public support of the campaign – a full-blown national billboard campaign beginning now and running through the 2012 campaign if necessary.”

26 May – The Washington Post writes about Lawrence O’Donnell, and Dr. Orly gets a mention.
“Sometimes he goes even further. On the day Obama released his long-form birth certificate last month, O’Donnell had kooky birther Orly Taitz as a guest. O’Donnell tried to beat a mea culpa out of Taitz, repeatedly asking her if she accepted the “veracity” of the document. Taitz declined and instead tried to open a new line of attack on the president’s origins.
“Get her off this show!” O’Donnell sputtered in frustration. “Get her off. You’re fired. Go play with Donald Trump!” At which point Taitz disappeared from the screen.
It made for an electric confrontation, but it also raised a few questions, not least of which was: Why have on a widely discredited fringe figure like Taitz in the first place?”
26 May – Oh look. Someone’s calling for Dr. Onaka’s arrest. For, I guess, the crime of certifying that Obama is a natural born US citizen or something equally as foolish.
“The internet claims that Soetoro’s personal Washington, D.C. shyster lawyer personally traveled to Hawaii and hand carried the CLB back to the White House. The hack’s name is Judith Corley, who is a partner in the firm’s political law practice. This attorney works for Perkins Coie. Please remember that Perkins Coie is the same attorney that was knee deep in almost every case that has been filed against Soetoro for being an illegal alien and POTUS.
So Judith Corley, who was working on the payroll of Soetoro, goes to Hawaii and brings back a forged and fraudulent CLB. Corley’s name, Soetoro’s name, nor Perkins Coie’s name is not on the document (that Soetoro claims is THE REAL CLB), but as you can see, Alvin T. Onaka, Ph. D. is clearly the one that is being hung out to dry!
But what the heck! No one is going after Onaka! Twice he has “certified” bogus trash! In 2 ½ years, Onaka has NEVER denied it was his signature nor has he denied the Certification of Live Birth that Robert Gibbs, Chris Mathews, Bill O’Reilly, and all of the rest of the anti-birthers claimed was REAL!”
Someone put on their cranky pants.
“But not this time Mr. Onaka! You’re going down! Twice you have certified the cesspool bilge! You are scum and YOU ARE IN ON IT! The “Chain of Evidence” starts with YOU and your name is on the document. You signed it, Soetoro says you signed it, Coie says you signed it, Corley says you signed it…YOUR HEAD IS IN THE NOOSE! We’ll start with YOU and then work our way UP THE CHAIN and DOWN YOUR CHAIN! It ain’t going away any time soon! You might as well come clean now…or face the consequences!”

26 May – And it looks like some of the birtherstani are starting to throw Trump under the bus for daring to claim swiftboat liar Jerome Corsi might be misstating things. World Nut Daily rises to Corsi’s defense, claiming Trump got an advance copy of Corsi’s book.
“Donald Trump today issued a written statement to the leftist Mother Jones magazine and other news outlets denying he told Jerome Corsi, author of a new bestselling book about Barack Obama’s constitutional eligibility, he suspected the birth certificate released by the White House is fraudulent.
Trump also said he had not read Corsi’s book, “Where’s the Birth Certificate? The Case That Barack Obama Is Not Eligible To Be President,” despite having his staff sign a non-disclosure agreement to get the book three weeks before it was released May 17.
Trump does not deny calling Corsi this week but claims in his statement it was only to congratulate him on the sales of his book.”
It’s quite possible that Trump himself didn’t read it, but that his staff did and mined it for tidbits – since a lot of Trump’s birther claims was stuff Corsi claimed in his book.
And it looks like World Nut Daily is going with the “Trump was an Obama plant” claim:
“If he wasn’t going to read the book, why go to the trouble of requesting a PDF copy and having your representative sign an NDA for it?” asked Farah. “Was his intent all along to violate the NDA and give it to someone else? Was his intent other than what he represented to us – to go to school on the eligibility issue? Trump needs to explain himself to someone other than Mother Jones. That doesn’t sound like good faith to me.”
Farah and Corsi say Trump talked about a golf course designer he works with – someone Trump described as a “genius” on the computer – who shared with him his expert opinion that the birth certificate was a fraud. Trump said he was considering renewing his calls for Obama to establish his eligibility, but wanted more to go on.
“He kept urging us to hold press conferences – assuring us he’d be right behind us, holding our coats, so to speak” said Farah. “When I pushed him to join us, he quickly backed off – saying he couldn’t jump back into the issue right now. I have strongly begun to suspect that Trump had other motives than seeking the truth about Obama. I think he was pumping Corsi for information for some other purpose than being on the right side of history.”

27 May – Mother Jones reports on the World Nut Daily – Trump spat.
“In a recent on-air conversation, Corsi and conspiracy theorist/talk show host Alex Jones suggested that Trump was now scheming with the White House—and perhaps had been plotting with the Obama crowd all along. They speculated that Trump had been bought off, pointing out that his retreat from birthersm and his attacks on GOP 2012 contenders suspiciously coincided with NBC’s renewal of his reality show, Celebrity Apprentice. Somehow, the pair said, the government had given money to NBC that ended up with Trump. (They didn’t provide details.). Corsi did note, though, that when he recently told Trump that it looked as if Trump’s political loyalties had been purchased by the other side, the billionaire developer told him that for him, the NBC money was “chump change.”
Trump must be ruing the day he got in bed with these people. He’s gone from being their champion to being their target. Perhaps he’ll be the subject of Corsi’s next book.”

“WND gave Trump an advance PDF copy of “Where’s the Birth Certificate,” meaning it is actually impossible that he didn’t read it, as he now claims.
Corsi went even further in an interview with (of course) Alex Jones. Jones and Corsi both seem to think that there is a distinct possibility that Trump is coordinating his campaign to make them look silly with the White House!
Becoming a birther was probably the best decision Donald Trump ever made. It caused him to meet such interesting people!”
