I talked to Brad King over at IEC and he said those rules apply only to candidates running in the state of Indiana( ie Governor, etc); He said there is no time frame for presidential challenges, however, if 30 days before the general election and challenge is pending by the IEC, then they can toss it out so the ballots can be drawn up.—– Original Message —–

Please contact the office of the Sec of State and Elections Commission and check when the rules were changed

There also was an Indiana Elections Commission Meeting on August 6th, but the content of meeting has not been posted yet on the in.gov/sos website. I am not sure if this is a coincidence or someone altering rules to cover themselves.
