do you take credit cards, I will pay for the expedited transcript.
Each US District court has to have an audio tape of the proceeding in case the court reporter reports incorrectly.
we had a situation in PA where a court reporter Dona Anders removed the whole testimony of a witness from the certified transcript, which benefitted a party. Thanks to the fact that the audio tapes are required, we were able to recover 14 pages of transcript, which were not included initially. There has to be an audio tape. Please, advice me, whether I need to go to the judge in order to get an audio tape of the hearing
Are court reporters in California required to keep an audio backup? I know that many court reporters in Naples, Florida do not. Florida also has a hybrid digital audio recording/stenographic court reporter system so that there are audio recordings of some cases, but certainly not all. Firms are starting to pop up all around the country such as Naples Reporting that provide audio recording and transcription services so that nothing is ever missed and all transcripts are verifiably accurate.
