This is a complete and total falsehood. The Republican administration in Ohio has passed a law restricting early voting NOT “liberals” Get your facts straight or lose credibility.
“The Obama campaign has sued to get those early voting rights back, not reducing, or even touching, military voters’ rights, just reinstating everyone else’s early voting rights. Even so, 15 military groups, including the National Guard, oppose the lawsuit, saying that they could lose their voting rights if the administration wins its case.
“Let me be perfectly clear at the outset,” says Will Crossley, Democratic National Committee counsel and voter protection director, who joined Jennifer Granholm in “The War Room” to discuss this issue. “We brought this lawsuit in order to ensure that all Ohioans — including military and military families — would have an opportunity to vote early the last weekend before the election. That’s what this lawsuit asked the court to reinstate. The restriction that was put into place by this law took away the right for most Ohioans to access the polling place on that last day.”
