Obama Is The First President To Sue To Restrict Military Voting In 2012 Elections ! – Must See Video
President Barack Obama, along with many Democrats, likes to say that, while they may disagree with the GOP on many issues related to national security, they absolutely share their admiration and dedication to members of our armed forces.
Obama, in particular, enjoys being seen visiting troops and having photos taken with members of our military.
So, why is his campaign and the Democrat party suing to restrict their ability to vote in the upcoming election?
The National Defense Committee reports:
in each of the last three years, the Department of Defense’s Federal Voting Assistance Program has reported to the President and the Congress that the number one reason for military voter disenfranchisement is inadequate time to successfully vote.
On July 17th, the Obama for America Campaign, the Democratic National Committee and the Ohio Democratic Party filed suit in OH to strike down part of that state's law governing voting by members of the military. Their suit said that part of the law is "arbitrary" with "no discernible rational basis."

Ironic that Abe Lincoln from Illinois was the 1st Prez to give troops the right to vote back in 1864. Now Obama from Illinois wants to restrict that law.

now what if i told that the struggle for liberty was another classic example of good versus evil… virtue versus sin… you that cancer did you know that disease actually stems from ‘sin.’ and that the observation of the disease is a direct effect of the accumulation of sin. the real cure to the disease is eliminating the sin not irradiating the human body or pumping it full of chemicals… which is another type sin. what if i told you the world has become technologically metaphysical to the point that the plastics we use for example, are in actuality derivatives from a soup of what is basically liquified dead animals that we process and then we call that oil. and then we take this plastic and turn it into a prison for the water that was once free and call it bottled water, again… this is just one example of our conduct that we partake in and that is driven by the greed theft and sin that plagues our societies. things end up looking quite differently with that kind of perspective doesnt it.

Wow, I am not American but I can not believe that the men and women that risk their lives, mental health, family stability, and give all they are to their country. Most joined because of their deep reasoning to protect their country and all the people in it. Why should they then be unable to have a say in the person who will be making the major life changing decisions for the troops is disgusting.
If they can arrange digital voting on american soil then there is no reason to not let them have their say. If its from fear they wont vote for you, then you need to get out of the high school mentality , its not senior class president election, so they should stop acting like they have candy in one hand for the people they “know” will vote for him and a slap in the face for the troops who keep him safe.

I found it disgusting that when the Florida recount (s) were ongoing during W Bushe’s first electon , Democrats were doing everything possible to “divine the intentions” of likely Democratic voters while at the same time trying to have military ballots thrown out.

This is an important story but you have it backwards. There IS a lawsuit filed by the Obama Admin as Ohio has made it very difficult to vote. Rachel Maddow’s ( 8/2/12 on her website), is closest to getting it correct.
Why should obama be ashamed for himself?

Nonsense. Administrations always tilt the military vote their way. During World War II, soldiers could vote ONLY for Roosevelt. This is nothing new. The President is the commander in chief, after all.
These Americian service men who are fighting for their government and corperations are allowed to give their lifes in combat, but not allowed to vote for choice of a leader. Makes absolutely no sence. Unless these service men see how Obama has been shreding the contition and giving over all the freedoms which made America great.
Who will take a stand and voice there concern? If no one does, there will only be worse restrictions coming down the pike. What a sad day when right is wrong, and wrong is right.

No. He didn’t (said the lawyer). I read the suit. It is saying that ALL voters in OH should be permitted to vote just like the military and have that extra time. It is an attempt, by Obama, to EXPAND voting rights. Even Romney’s people could point to no language in the suit to support this idiot wingnut position.
