Rep. Darrell Issa appeared on Fox & Friends Thursday, where he spoke about a new report on the botched Fast & Furious gun walking operation. Fourteen Department of Justice officials were named in the report as being at fault for all that went wrong, although the report also clears Attorney General Eric Holder from wrongdoing in the operation.
Issa cautions, however, that there is still the matter of the cover-up to contend with. The issue, he maintains, remains whether Holder should have known matters regarding the operation.
He also weighed in on recent reports of emails showing that the DOJ worked with the left-wing media watchdog Media Matters. Issa remarked that “not since Richard Nixon have we seen a President that puts together an enemies list.” He added that he wants to see “the entire team packing their bags come November 7th.”
