Poor Thomas Jefferson. He thought Americans so intelligent, so capable of reasoning, that they’d all be Unitarians within one generation. Get yourself a good American History book and read it. All the “wars” and “peace treaties” you’re worred about don’t exist. We haven’t been at war with France ever. We’ve never declared war against Venezuela or Cuba either (although we were at war against Spain in Cuba in 1898). Cubans travel back and forth between their homes and Havana via Mexico City and they regularly send money to their relatives. All Obama did was make it a little easier for them.
You need to make a choice between Jesus, the Old Testment and Paul. Pick one. True Christians, those who’ve given their lives to the Christ of the Gospels, are not afraid.
I say this with all the love my Christian heart has: please seek some help with all these questions. No one should have to live with overwhelming fear, especially fear that isn’t based on fact.
