ObamaCare Launch A Perfect Reflection of Obama
The ObamaCare website is a reflection of everything wrong with Obama!
John McAfee, computer guru and programming wizard who designed MaAfee anti-virus security software, has publicly declared that the computer program and web site known as ObamaCare cannot possibly be patched, repaired or fixed. According to McAfee, the only way it can work is to start all over again from scratch; the current programming is too flawed to ever work reliably or correctly.
Concurrently the American Public has learned, 3.5 years and $634M later, that all the promises of ObamaCare were nothing more than political hot air used to ramrod a program that the American People never wanted or supported into an incomprehensible law over 2200 pages in length, creating over 150 new bureaucracies – and all for the covert purpose of wealth redistribution resulting in the sabotage of The American Economy.
As part of this ludicrous plan, which Liberal Progressive Democrats had once crowed about as the crowning achievement of their Liberal agenda, ObamaCare – which realistically should be called ObozoCare for obvious reasons – is a laughably predictable disaster of monumental proportions.
As President Obama never tires of telling us, ObamaCare is far more than just a non-working website. In reality, it is a program that from a purely mathematical perspective cannot possible succeed, even if the website worked flawlessly. The reason for this is that the mathematics and the assumptions of ObamaCare are horribly flawed, and were created by an administration which, almost to a person, have no experience in the real world of business balance sheets. Noted financial analyst Karl Denninger has meticulously documented the mathematical impossibility of ObamaCare’s survival without bankrupting the United States Treasury in the process.
The reason ObamaCare is doomed to failure, even if the web site worked perfectly, is because it is predicated on young people joining and supporting this system in vast numbers in order to pay for the health care of older American adults, and they are supposedly “persuaded” to do this under penalty of a fine. Yet young people, by and large, will not join this forced, punitive system while paying exhorbitant rates for coverage they do not feel they need. Predictably, they will instead take their chances and not purchase health care, rather than become a part of a system which provides no value for their money, a plan which is far more outrageously expensive than the health insurance coverage they once could have easily and inexpensively purchased from multiple sources before the imposition of ObamaCare upon their lives.
We are told that the healthare.gov site repeatedly crashed for users because there was such “overwhelming interest” in the ObamaCare program that the system could not handle it. Yet, according to Alexa, the web site that measures web traffic at “healthcare.gov”, there are more than 200 other web sites around the world that easily handle much more traffic than the healthcare.gov web site, and these sites actually work at a small fraction of the cost of the ObamaCare web site, which continually crashes.
John McAfee, computer guru whose anti-virus security programs are found on computers around the world, stated publicly on “Coast to Coast AM” that the system cannot be fixed. McAffee stated that the entire system must be scrapped and done all over again – correctly.
According to McAfee, The Obama administration’s first major error was to outsource this job to CGI, a Canadian firm that has had a history of failures and an inability to deliver fully functional computer programs on time. This choice was even more strange considering The One’s pledge to focus on American job creation “like a laser beam.” Perhaps the Great Savior’s decision was made easier by the fact that CGI was also in charge of Canada’s gun registry program; yet another national computer web site that suffered numerous failures. This may help explains Obama’s decision to give CGI this sweetheart contract, with never any threat of American competition or expertise.
The awarding of this “no bid” boondoggle to CGI is even more “interesting” when one considers the chummy closeness of both Barack and Michelle to the husband and wife team who own CGI, who once had dinner with The Obama’s at The White House. Could this have been still another reason why CGI was granted this “no bid” contract to produce a non-working website for $634 Million Dollars, a web site many knowledgeable computer experts claim should have cost less than $2 Million for a site which would actually work?
Instead, CGI farmed out our healthcare program to low level Indian programmers who lacked the expertise to accomplish this task, rather than senior programmers.
No “alpha” or “beta” testing was ever performed; and the one “stress test” which occurred one week before launch of the web site failed completely, yet Health and Human Services told programmers to go ahead with the launch anyway!
Apparently no one mentioned this pre-launch failure to his majesty, President Obama, as he was totally unaware of any problems with the system, according to Katherine Sebelius, until AFTER the system launched October 1st. This level of government readiness is shown by the total number of people who signed up, or more accurately, were able to sign up after the first full day of ObamaCare; in a nation of 318 million people, a total of 6 people were able to sign up on October 1st before the system crashed! What an amazing level of success!
This scenario goes to show one of three things:
1. Obama is such a poor administrator that he hired incompetents in Health and Human Services to run a program which they were incapable of handling.
2. Obama cared so little for his “signature” piece of legislation that he was completely out of the loop when it came to any problems or issues with the program. Or…
3. Obama is so averse to hearing any negative criticism that the people who tried to warn the administration that this program would never work as early as July were silenced, and those tasked with informing The Great One with the bad news never dared tell him.
Obama has recently stated that the best and the brightest from Silicon Valley have now been brought in to work on the problems. Why, one rationally wonders, were the best and the brightest not asked at the beginning of this project to create it for the U.S. Government, rather than first farm it out to Canadians??? Is not the United States of America the home of IBM, MicroSoft, Dell, Apple, Oracle, the place where these and other computer giants of the industry were created?
But the problem with the healthcarer.gov site known as ObamaCare is not a matter of a few “glitches” or “bugs” or “kinks” – it is a total programming disaster, a nightmare that cannot possibly be fixed or patched.
To compound the insult to injury, The Obma Adminstration for the last 3 years since July of 2010, knew that 80% of Americans would lose their health care coverage, yet OBAMA LIED and continued to LIE about his purposeful deception throughout the 2012 Presidential Elections.
One of the major flaws and lies regarding ObamaCare is that there was no ability to comparison shop policies until last week; and then the rates quoted are also LIES – rates for 26-to 49 year old coverage are based on a 27 year old person; 50+ coverage rates are based on a 50 year old – discrepancies which will amount to hundreds of dollars per month for others who are not that age. The web site is divided into only two age categories; 49 and under and 50 and over. However, in order to disguise the “sticker shock” of the actual cost of the plan, anyone who checks 49 and under is quoted rates for a 27 year old adult; and anyone checking 50 and older is given rates for a 50 year old. The actual rates are often twice to three times as much.
For women, this often represents a 62% price increase; for men a 99% increase. This, after Obama promised us a “2500% reduction” in rates in the many speeches he made to promote this fiasco, just as he promised a $3000 reduction in the average price of health care to individuals.
And to make matters worse, The Obama Administration, changed the entire interface concept one month before the debut so that people could not comparison shop prices as promised! Rather than allowing customers to compare and browse, one has to first sign up and “register” on Obozo care to find out what the rates are!
Any ordinary insurance company practicing this level of fraud and deception would immediately be indicted, prosecuted and driven out of business…. By the Federal Government!
According to the Congressional testimony of the main programmers, all anticipated difficulties were shared with The Obama Administration, but rather than delay the program, they were told to proceed anyway. They knew it would fail “…but they didn’t care…”. HHS promised the system would work knowing it would not; and they also flat out lied.
After all, The Annointed One had promised: “We’ll be open on October 1st, no matter what”…. And Obonzo did actually keep this promise – the web site was open for business October 1st, no matter that it wasn’t ready and crashed repeatedly. It was the only promise which The Great One actually kept.
However, other promises The Messiah made were less than truthful; in fact, one might even label them blatant lies.
Consider such statements as:
“You can compare and contrast affordable health insurance plans side-by-side on the web site, just like Kayak”; or these other whoppers….
- “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.”
- “If you like your current health insurance plan, you can keep your current plan;”
- “The average family of four can expect a savings of $4500 per year”
- It will reduce rates for the average consumer by about $2500 per year.”
- “It will reduce your health insurance rates by 3000%.”
- “There will be no death panels.”
- “Illegal aliens will not be covered under this plan.”
- “It will only cost $900 Billion dollars over ten years.”
Every one of the above Obozo statements are nothing more than flat out LIES.
The Zero Administration had 3 choices – tell the American people the truth, modify the plan to permit people to keep their plans and doctors, or LIE. What did Obama and the Administration decide to do? They decided to LIE.
The president of the U.S. willfully lied because his radical ideology is more important than the health and welfare of the American people. And what is Obama’s underlying ideology? Simple – it is that America must be punished by being diminished – socially, economically and politically – to atone for the supposed sins he and other people of color like him have suffered and endured at the hands of the White Anglo-Saxon establishment, which is embodied by The United States of America.
Unfortunately for Obama, being elected president of this horribly repressive, racist, bigoted and discriminatory country does give the lie to his worldview – which is that of a hopelessly corrupt, rigid, doctrinaire Marxist, perennially filtered thru the jaundiced eyes of his University of Chicago Communist indoctrinator Saul Alinsky. Unfortunately for us, the rest of the people of he United States must now suffer for Obama’s absurd world view and somehow endure his callous ineptitude, his repeated lies, his never-ending refusal to accept any responsibility for anything that ever is less than stellar by the minions and underlings of his administration, in order to placate his unbridled hatred of the United States of America.
As of today, 45 out of 50 states have seen their average health insurance costs rise, not fall. On average, health insurance coverage is now more than 3X as expensive as it was before, for less coverage and higher deductibles!
Rather than the $900 Billion Obama promised, The Congressional Budget Office estimated the true cost of this program to be triple: 1.8 TRILLION DOLLARS over the next ten years!!! And this, after taking an additional $780 Million Dollars from MediCare to help pay for this fiasco!
On top of that, the 30 million people who did not have health insurance coverage before ObozoCare will still not have health insurance coverage even after the passage of ObozoCare. And coverage of these uninsured, along with lower health care costs, was the primary reason why this law was supposedly passed in the first place!
In New Jersey, 800 thousand people have lost their health care coverage because of the launch of ObozoCare; and 300 thousand Floridians have as well.
All together, 16 Million people will soon learn that they have no health insurance coverage, despite the fact that 85% of people who had their own health insurance coverage were satisfied with it.
According to Forbes Magazine, the average family of four can expect their health insurance coverage to increase by the staggering amount of $7,450!! Now that’s what I call “Affordable” Health Care! Bravo, Obozo! Bravo!
Another stunning figure; more people have had their health insurance cancelled than have signed up for ObozoCare.
Insurers are complaining that the program is so poorly written that spouses are being listed as children and vice-versa; so poorly designed that web programming code has actually appeared on the web site on screen!
Moreover the source code for this system is easy to hack, and now it is even easier since it is available on the internet. This means that ANYONE entering information is vulnerable to computer hackers who can steal their identities and empty their bank accounts.
Obama was never in the loop by his own choice; rather than shepherd his namesake legislation, he farmed it out to Kathleen Sebelius and then ignored it.
Sebelius was a strange choice to shepherd this progam, as she had a track record as Governor of Kansas where she tried, unsuccessfully, to implement a government computerized unemployment compensation plan that still did not work after seven frustrating years! Yet Obama found no reason to hesitate having her head this program – despite her failure to implement a similar program on a much smaller scale.
Unlike all other systems designed for the public use, ObozoCare was never stressed tested under the kind of load which was to be expected when it was opened to the general public.
Instead, the system was “stressed tested” using a few hundred volunteers, and it crashed even then! This was one week before its rollout, yet the rollout was never delayed. How utterly incomprehensible is it to think that a system designed to serve the entire Nation would crash when a few hundred people used it to try to access information or to register, and yet we were assured up to the last minute that it would work as advertised.
But could this entire fiasco actually be a part of a larger, more strategic plan by The Obama Administration to create something to their liking out of this chaos? According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, ObamaCare is systematically destroying the insurance companies and the health care market in order to move America towards a single payer system.
This may not be as remote a possibility as it sounds; for one several occasions, President Obama stated that his health care reform was the necessary “first step” in moving the country to a single payer (government) system, and candidate Obama said more than once that this is the type of system he favors to impose on America.
Dictators, of course, rule by executive fiat, and anyone familiar with the workings of The Obama Administration knows how they relish changing legislation – illegally – thru Executive Orders. After all, how do you think over 4,300 corporations were excused from imposing ObamaCare on their employees because of “economic hardship”???
Of course, paying off his contributors and cronies causes problems, especially Constitutional ones. This is rather strange too, since the brilliant Constitutional scholar that Barack Obama is reputed to be should know, without anyone having to point out the obvious, that his Executive Orders create two classes of citizens: one that has to follow the law of ObamaCare, and those who do not. President Obama, his family, Senators and Congress (along with labor unions whose health care plan was instituted by “collective bargaining” and 4300 corporations) are among those excluded.
In other words, The Great Zero paid off his union buddies by purposely omitting them from the necessity of having to change their health plans and lose the doctors they like due to ObamaCare. Yet somehow this major discrepancy was allowed to remain in the health care law and is now “legal” while The Mainstream Media remain silent about this unconstitutional usurpation among so many others by this ‘acting’ President.
In the final analysis, President Obama’s “signature” achievement – ObamaCare – is the perfect reflection of this utterly inept amateur, whose now legendary superficial lack of attention to details, lack of care, “deep seated laziness” (his own quote about himself) and lack of even basic of managerial experience has now ushered forth this stillborn rotten fruit from his mental womb.
ObamaCare is the definition, in spades, of everything wrong with Obama and the Liberal Progressive Left. Despite their assurances and promises and “best intentions”, their lack of real world experience combined with their utter lack of accountability or responsibility provides the framework for this laughable, yet tragic, comedy of errors which was actually designed to do nothing more than re-distribute wealth and sabotage the American Economy under the pretext of “health care reform.”
ObamaCare defines the mind, the legend and the legacy of Obama writ large – O Mighty Ozymandias, the World laughs at your Empty Suit!
