In important news that will nonetheless come as no surprise to anyone who has been paying the administration of President Barack Obama the least bit of attention, the president has lied to the nation — indeed, to the entireinternational community.
Again.
White House press secretary Josh Earnest claimed Monday that Obama would have liked to attend Sunday’s anti-terrorism march in Paris, but security issues prevented him from doing so, given the late notice.
Which implied, obviously, that he had actually asked someone about security issues in Paris.
Not the case, according to the Fox News Channel.
FNC’s chief congressional correspondent, Mike Emanuel, tweeted on Monday that the Secret Service had heard nothing about a potential trip to Paris.
