We are so accustomed to insant culture: instant coffee, microwaved meals, parenting in a book. Nothing in life is free, or easy, but we have forgotten and suppressed that. We want it now [whatever 'it' is] and we want it NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our life in a pudding box continues to drive our politics, economics and US society as a whole. We have been seduced by reality TV and abominations like SURVIVOR, and fthe Apprentice. For many of us, life is something we have seen on television and we do not make differences between what we see on television and what we expect of some of our leaders.
Writing for the Atlantic, James Fellows describes the President:
As Barack Obama contends for a second term in office, two conflicting narratives of his presidency have emerged. Is he a skillful political player and policy visionary—a chess master who always sees several moves ahead of his opponents (and of the punditocracy)? Or is he politically clumsy and out of his depth—a pawn overwhelmed by events, at the mercy of a second-rate staff and of the Republicans? Here, a longtime analyst of the presidency takes the measure of our 44th president, with a view to history. source
Questions keep cropping up, particularly from his opponents and detractors, especially because of the challenges presented by evolving terrorism and the changing face of global politics. No matter what he does, his opponents find fault with it and they ae not shy about saying so.
Theere is even a website dedicated to “Hating obama”
If you are really pissed off, well, what did you expect from

That is, from a distance, a fractally wrong person’s
worldview is incorrect; and furthermore,
if you zoom in on any small part of that person’s
worldview, that part is just as wrong as the
whole worldview. SOURCE
Hating Obama, like Hating Bush, has become a multi-million dollar industsry. Talk radio, conservative media and blamestret news heap coals on his head hourly. Lush Limberger, Blannety and Mornng Jowls are making fortunes hating Obama.
