Time For Harry Reid To Put Up, Appologize, And Resign

(Before It's News)

Everyone who isn’t a died in the wool Marxist knows that Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) is a little man of little intelligence and little character.  As the days roll on, this fact just keeps getting proven again and again.

Harry Reid, not having to run for re-election this year, means that it is safe for the left to send this loudmouthed fool out to say whatever he wants, no matter how slanderous.  If you or I said or did half the things Senator Reid says and does, we would be in jail.  But, as a Senator, and a liberal Senator at that, Senator Harry Reid gets immunity from the laws the rest of us have to answer to.

Early this year, for example, Mr. Reid stated, without any evidence, although he claimed to have an “unnamed source”, that Mitt Romney had not paid taxes for a decade.  He then turned around and demanded that Romney release his tax returns.  Of course, the fact that Harry Reid had kept his own tax returns locked up tighter than a pharos tomb should not be over looked here.

Well, as it turns out, Mitt Romney not only paid taxes, but he was quite charitable too.  And, GASP, with his OWN money!  Unlike Harry Reid who is charitable with only the tax payer’s money.

(RNN) – Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney released his 2011 tax returns Friday, showing he paid a rate of 14.1 percent on his $13.7 million in income.

Romney and his wife, Ann, paid $1,935,708 in taxes for the year on the money they made, mostly through investments. Both his income and tax payment were significantly smaller than the 2011 tax estimates he made public in January, which showed $3.2 million owed on $20.9 million.

The returns show that the Romneys gave $4,020,772 to charity in 2011, which is roughly 30 percent of his income, but only claimed a deduction for $2.25 million on those contributions. Trustee Brad Malt explained on the campaign website that donations could have reduced their tax burden more.

Well, that means that we now have 2010 and 2011 released, so there goes Harry Reid’s frivilous claim!  Romney’s accountant has also released a certified letter which states that Mitt Romney indeed has paid taxes over the year’s Harry Reid claims that he did not.

Of course the little man named Reid is doubling down and coming out with new claims now that he previous ones are proven false.

(CNN) – Sen. Harry Reid said nothing of his earlier claims that Mitt Romney had not paid taxes over a ten-year span in a Friday statement joining Democrats in responding to Romney’s release of tax-related documents on Friday.

The Nevada Democrat and Senate majority leader called Romney’s accounting “galling” and said the documentation “reveals that Mitt Romney manipulated one of the only two years of tax returns he’s seen fit to show the American people – and then only to ‘conform’ with his public statements.”

But what else can you expect?  The only way Harry Reid is not the dumbest person in the room is to have President Obama and Nancy Pelosi show up.

It is time for Harry Reid to release his own tax returns, apologize, and resign.  On top of that, for knowingly slandering a fellow America, he should be tried, convicted, and sent to prison.
