Another Border Patrol Agent Killed and More Questions

(Before It's News)

This week, the Border Patrol lost yet another agent. Nicholas Ivie was killed while responding to a sensor going off near the Arizona-Mexico border. One other agent was wounded in the resulting firefight. Today, Mexico announced that they had arrested two suspects in the killing. In the below PJ Media report, we learn that Ivie was killed in a federally-protected area of land, which means that the Border Patrol has been prohibited from using mechanized vehicles (Ivie was on horseback.) The reason? Environmental concerns.

At this point, I have two other questions: Since no weapons have yet been recovered, did this latest shooting involve weapons that were purchased under Operation Fast and Furious?

Secondly, were Ivie and his two colleagues involved in the shooting using live ammunition or beanbags-as was the case when BP agent Brian Terry was killed?

I await DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano’s answer.
