Why We Need High-Capacity Magazines

A short-term goal of the government–media complex is to ban high-capacity magazines. “What do you need them for?” ask authoritarians, as if that were the issue, rather than, “What gives you thugs the right to take them away from me?” But let’s answer their question anyway:

The incident happened at a home on Henderson Ridge Lane in Loganville [Georgia] around 1 p.m. The woman was working in an upstairs office when she spotted a strange man outside a window, according to Walton County Sheriff Joe Chapman. He said she took her 9-year-old twins to a crawlspace before the man broke in using a crowbar.

But the man eventually found the family.

Thankfully, the woman was armed.

The woman then shot him five times, but he survived, Chapman said. He said the woman ran out of bullets but threatened to shoot the intruder if he moved.

“She’s standing over him, and she realizes she’s fired all six rounds. And the guy’s telling her to quit shooting,” Chapman said.

She was able to escape with her children. It’s fortunate that the good guys are better at counting to six than the bad guys.

Once again, the precious right to bear arms saves innocent life. Although her .38 revolver did the job, this story would have been less hairy had she more rounds to work with — and that’s with only one intruder.

If the governmedia had its way, the heroine of this tale would have been a helpless victim — very likely raped and murdered in front of her children. Helpless victims are easy to rule.
