Florida Governor Rick Scott is out campaigning hard to garner the coveted Hispanic vote, but will the traditional tactics Republican strategists use to try to win over Hispanics work in Scott’s re-election bid? Probably not.
Pandering to Hispanics by giving them amnesty and other immigration goodies is a losing proposition, and everyone knows it. At least the people who really have some grasp of the issue do.
Something tells me that Scott’s 2010 Hispanic vote secret weapon may have to be dusted off and put into use.
