Newly Elected Arizona Governor Ducey A No Show At Greater Phoenix Chamber Event

Governor Doug Ducey, NO SHOW
The governor-Elect had been invited to this event that is held every year and Governor Brewer always had a packed house.
More than 250 guest had traveled from around the State to gather for this event. They spent their time having snacks and waiting for the Governor to show which he never did!
The color guard came in the room a couple of times and went back out, leaving everyone wondering what was going on.
When Colors were presented, everyone knew something wasn’t kosher…the Governor is always announced and the color guard march’s in. The Honor Guard from Luke seemed to grow impatient and did colors at 6:30…the event was scheduled to end at 7:30.In the past the security detail comes in and there was absolutely nothing.
Andy Biggs and Representative Gowan were called up to give their 2 minute speeches and that was it!
The Governors always attend this event and Governor Ducey insulted all the sponsors and guests by being a NO SHOW.
Many officials were there that expected to hear the Governor speak. Everyone including the staff was expecting Ducey and were ticked that he was a no show and that there was NEVER a formal announcement that he was not coming,
We ultimately were told he went to Tucson to give his state of the state! Phoenix is the Capital, why did Ducey go to Tucson on an evening he had previously scheduled another event?
