(Before It's News)

Syrian passports are a huge retail business. One reporter was able to buy a Syrian passport, identity card and driving license from a forger in a Turkish border town. He was given the identity of a Syrian man killed last year.

The whole thing is a ruse, under the cloak of – ironically enough – “humanitarianism” when what these invaders bring to the host country is anything but.

The Middle East was one a Christian region. Now it’s a hell-hole under the boot of sharia (save for Israel). Imagine Europe in 2050.

JUST a fifth of migrants registering for asylum in Europe are from Syria, shocking EU statistics have revealed.

Only one in five refugees claiming asylum in Europe are from Syria according to the figures

Campaigners and left-wing MPs have previously blasted the government for doing little to help refugees who they insisted were mainly coming from Syria.

But out of the astonishing 213,000 arrivals the EU logged between April and June, only 44,000 were fleeing the war-torn state.

Sceptics criticised campaigners over the revelation, accusing them of selling a lie about the number of people trying to escape the conflict.

Conservative MP David Davies claimed the new figures published by Eurostat reveal “the lie peddled in some quarters that vast numbers of those reaching Europe are from Syria”.

Mr Davies said: “Most people who are escaping the war will go to camps in Lebanon or Jordan.

“Many of those who have opted to risk their lives to come to Europe have done so for economic reasons.”

According to the figures migration for the three months was double the level of the same period last year.

They show that the number of Afghans trying to claim asylum has rocketed from 6,300 to 27,000 – while another 17,700 claims were made by Albanians, whose country is not at war.

Tory MP Sir Bill Cash said the statistics “make for disturbing reading”.

He said: “The whole argument has been made that this influx is all real refugees from Syria whereas this adds to the substantial evidence that there are a large number of economic migrants who are aiming for a better life.”

Britain received a total of 7,470 asylum applications across the three months.

David Cameron recently came under fire for failing to join the EU scheme to distribute 160,000 migrants between all 28 member states.

However the Prime Minster has since announced that Britain will house 20,000 Syrians from camps in Jordan and Lebanon – where they have fled to escape the conflict.

But he stopped short of accepting migrants who are already in Europe over fears it would encourage more refugees to make the treacherous journey.

Yvette Cooper slammed the UK’s current scheme, claiming that “it isn’t working”.

The chair of Labour’s refugee task force said: “It ignores the crisis also happening in Europe itself and means Britain has no leverage to get other countries to sign up to help.”

But a Home Office spokesman said that claiming asylum in Britain “must not be viewed as an easy means of settlement by those who are not actually refugees.”

He said: “We need systems which keep out unfounded claims so we can all respond more quickly and effectively to those genuinely in need of refuge.”

Croatian police control migrants before boarding a train

The deepening crisis saw two EU member states lock heads yesterday after Hungary confiscated a Croatian train carrying 1,000 migrants into the country.

Hungarian authorities even disarmed the 40 Croatian police officers on board before sending them back to their home land.

Both countries are currently embroiled in a spat which has casted the futures of thousands of migrants in doubt.

Hungarian government spokesman Zoltan Kovacs branded Croatia’s foreign minister as a liar after she claimed that the two member states had agreed to “provide a corridor” for the refugees.
