Selfies are pictures people take of themselves. Selfie sticks allow them to hold the camera/phone farther away so they can include background details.
It’s already happened. The number of narcissists worldwide is growing.
It takes a measure of self love to want to do a selfie. It says something about the person who does it; something not very attractive.
Even people who are running from danger find it necessary to record their faces when they are running.
Somehow the inclusion of a selfie stick in the images robs it of all seriousness.
Another thing about the digital cameras and their massive storage capacity is that most people snap images and then forget about them. There are just too many on the storage media to take the time to organize or to even look at them.
Can someone tell me what the thought process is that encourages people to take selfies that they will never look at? Or is it maybe the act of taking a selfie that is important?
