Alan Grayson’s First Senate Campaign Video To Aire
Rep. Alan Grayson (D) will be airing his first U.S. Senate campaign ad during the Democratic party presidential debate this evening.
The ad calls out the bipartisan Select Committee on Benghazi as a “witch hunt,” citing that Grayson filed an ethics complaint against House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy for his remarks about how Republicans have diminished Hillary Clinton, as a result of the committee being formed.
Grayson, as expected, then takes the credit for McCarthy withdrawing his name from consideration for Speaker of the House.
Grayson is locked in a heated Senate primary race against Rep. Patrick Murphy, who is favored by the Democratic establishment wing of the party, whereas Grayson, is supported by the progressives, or liberals within the Democratic Party.
