During an interview with 60 Minutes President Obama was asked about Russia’s rising influence in the Middle East and he defended his record by saying the world needs leadership on climate change. Specifically, Steve Croft noted that Vladimir Putin seems to be challenging Obama’s leadership. Obama responded by bashing Putin and saying “My definition of leadership would be leading on climate change.” It was cringe-worthy. Watch:
