(Before It's News)

Full disclosure: I contributed to the Rand Paul for President campaign and bring you this campaign update on the heels of the Fox Business Debate earlier this week.

From the inbox:

“This has been an exciting week for Rand! You asked about our ground game success and what we have accomplished in the early states. Below is an overview of what you have helped Rand accomplish to secure the nomination.

Iowa:

·      Our campaign has chairs in all 99 Iowa counties – if you include co-chairs we have 130 people. In contrast, Jeb’s campaign has 76 chairs or co-chairs in all 99 Iowa counties

·      Our campaign has 650 precinct captains – people who will speak for a candidate during the caucus. Jeb’s campaign reported having 129 precinct captains

·      Our campaign has made a quarter-million phone calls. Jeb’s campaign reported making 70,000 phone calls in Iowa.

New Hampshire:

Our campaign has a leadership team with over 325 members, including 27 GOP Representatives and 2 State Senators – Nearly triple the size of our closest rival.

Nevada: (open for one month)

·      50,000 calls

·      Over 2,600 volunteer recruitment calls

·      300 precinct captains

·      500 volunteer sign ups

Students for Rand:

·      SFR Chapters: 409 (at least one in all 50 states)

·      SFR Members: 12,405

·      SFR State Coordinators: 48

·      Over 75,000 calls

·      SFR Oktoberfest: 340 chapters participated

–       SFR’s October activism project that involved on-campus recruitment, phone-banking to early states, debate watch parties, and a social media blitz

·      SFR Turkeyfest: 362 chapters participated

–       SFR’s November activism project that involved on-campus recruitment, phone-banking to early states, debate watch parties, and a social media blitz

·      SFR #RandRally was the top trending political item on twitter during the debate on Tuesday evening.

Our campaign won the three major straw polls – Michigan, New Hampshire, and CPAC because of our strong organization. Listen to Rand Paul on the Laura Ingraham radio show:
