Ohio Gov. John Kasich’s defense of bank bailouts during Tuesday’s GOP debate earned him the infamous distinction of scoring the “least favorable reaction” ever from a Frank Luntz focus group.
“A month ago we showed you the highest debate moment that we have ever tested since 1996. Well, tonight, I have to show you the lowest moment,” he said. “The moment our New Hampshire voters said, they’ve heard enough.”
As reported by Western Journalism, Sen. Ted Cruz last month scored a 98 on a scale of 100 with a Luntz focus group during his takedown of the CNBC moderators. Kasich’s back and forth with Cruz last night earned him an 8.
Kasich just scored the lowest ever in my focus group. His support of bailouts “for people who can afford it” scored an 8. #GOPDebate
