Now that we live in upside-down world, where the leading Republican candidate is a barking moonbat cut of Code Pink cloth, anything is possible — even Think Progress getting something right. They are on the mark when they suggest that before handing the Donald the launch codes, we watch him discuss how his nuclear deterrence policy applies to nuclear-armed, Islamic, and perennially unstable Pakistan:
A detailed analysis of Mr. Trump’s remarks:
It should be noted that Trump has recently encouraged nuclear proliferation in Asia. He has floated the possibility of using nuclear weapons in the Middle East, and even refused to rule out using them in Europe. He has also toyed with the idea of declaring war on China, which has a massive nuclear arsenal. He has named himself as his own primary foreign policy consultant, on the grounds that he has “a very good brain” and has “said a lot of things.” During his supposedly serious foreign policy speech yesterday, he doubled down on unpredictability as a centerpiece of his approach.
If #NeverTrump doesn’t make sense to you yet, you must have a really nice fallout shelter.
