A 4-year-old falls into a gorilla enclosure. Zoo officials shoot the gorilla because the child’s life was in danger. Where do you suppose public sympathy lies? Not with the terrified parents:
Now couple Michelle Gregg, 32, and Deonne Dickerson, 37, have been blasted by those angry at the endangered animal’s tragic death.
One Twitter user wrote: “How about blaming the f*****g numb-nut parents. Shoot them not the Gorilla.”
“I’m pro animals. Take better care of your 3yr old F*****G KID you lazy son of a b***h. Shoot the parents first then the gorilla. Rant over,” wrote on furious tweeter.
Another said: “Feel for the gorilla. Didn’t deserve to get shot. Shoot the s****y mum instead.”
Several minor celebrities have weighed in on Twitter with similar sentiments. Former VH1 VeeJay John Fugelsang is now a cable news commentator:
If I ever let my toddler fall into a gorilla enclosure please leave the gorilla alone and just shoot me.

Joseph Kahn is an obscure film director:
If your kid purposefully falls into a gorilla cage, you should just tell your kid goodbye. That's called Darwinism.

Maybe these nasty comments will help them gain some much needed publicity as they morally preen, smugly superior in their belief that an animal’s life counts for more than a human’s.
Gregg and Dickerson are facing neglect charges over the incident. If they are found guilty, let’s hope it is fairly, and not because they were railroaded to avenge a savage beast.
On tips from TCS III and Rob E.
How mis-leading you are! The child hit the water pond when he fell into
the cage.. The gorilla reached over and plucked the child out of the water,
and then held the kid’s hand so he wouldn’t be afraid..
Where on earth does the “IT NEARLY KILLED” part come in at?
How mis-leading that is! At no point did the gorilla make any
hostile moves toward hurting the child.
