No way is this intended to sell software. Ham-fistedly ramming political correctness down the public’s throat alienates at least half of the public. Increasingly, the point of advertising is not to market products but to impose leftist ideology by creating an illusion of consensus. Unless you voted for Shrillary or Jill Stein with enthusiasm, this treacly excursion into moonbattery is hardly likely to make you buy anything from Microsoft that you wouldn’t have bought anyway:
Boycotts are no use; the moonbattery is too ubiquitous. There has to be a better way to push back against cultural Marxism. Step 1 is to never let them dupe you into thinking you are the only one who isn’t a moonbat.
