Earth Hour is tonight at 8:30 local time. Moonbats will celebrate their depraved foolishness by huddling in the dark, pretending that Western Civilization never bestowed its many bounties upon the world. The diligent will remember to turn their electric heat off. By acting in unison, they hope to turn the USA into North Korea, if only for 60 minutes.
But maybe you would rather celebrate Human Achievement Hour:
Human Achievement Hour is CEI’s annual celebration of human progress and will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017, from 8:30 – 9:30PM GMT, or your local time. During Human Achievement Hour, we pay tribute to human innovations that have allowed people around the globe to live better, fuller lives, and defend our basic human right to use energy to improve everyone’s quality of life.
Ways of celebrating Human Achievement Hour are much more enjoyable than turning the lights off. They include:
• Use your phone or computer to connect with friends and family
• Watch a movie or your favorite television show
• Drink a beer or cocktail
• Drive a car or take a ride-sharing service
• Take a hot shower
• Or, in true CEI fashion, celebrate reliable electricity that has saved lives, by bringing heat and air conditioning to people around the world, and keep your lights on for an hour
Also, celebrants can mark the occasion by sharing their favorite human achievement on Twitter with the hashtag #HAH2017. My personal favorite is the harnessing of electricity.
Unfortunately, Human Achievement Hour will only appeal to countermoonbats. Moonbats looking for an alternative to conventional Earth Hour celebrations are referred instead to #VenezuelaHour, which acknowledges that if ecosocialists are able to impose their will, we will not only be shivering in the dark; we will also be taking recycling to the next level by rooting through garbage for something to eat.
